With less than a week until the Knoxville Coaches vs. Cancer event at Knoxville High School, the big push is getting items for the silent auction. Girls Coach Jim Uitermarkt says there are about 100 items on the list now, and says that number usually increases within a week before the event.

Uitermarkt:
“We would love to have some more auction items other donations of any kind. Our auction over 100 items typically it gets to be about 200. But we’re at that point where we’re a week out that it explodes, but we’d be glad to accept anything people have to donate or cash donations.”
