Nominations are being accepted until today for the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance IMPACT awards. PACE Alliance Executive Director Karen Eischen says Pella has been fortunate to have an abundance of businesses, organizations and individuals that have impacted the community in a positive way. Those nominated will be judged based on overall impact to the quality of life in Pella, collaboration or partnerships, innovative programs or events, products or marketing, entrepreneurial spirit, impact to the local economy, and longevity of impact on the community. The award categories this year include the Business Impact Award, Community Impact Award, Spotlight Pella Award, and the Heritage Award. Any business, individual, or organization serving or operating in the Pella area is eligible, but preference will be given to PACE Alliance members. Recipients will be recognized at the PACE Alliance Annual Membership Meeting on February 28th.
