The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads will travel to Colfax-Mingo tonight. The girls can get one of their preseason goals checked off with a win tonight. Coach Kelsey Goff put up ten wins this season as a goal and the Saints are at nine right now. She tells KNIA Sports she wants the girls to remain focused on each game.

Goff:
“Just keeping our focus and knowing everytime we step out on that court we know it’s not a given we still have to earn it, and stay focused and out out that effort.”

The Tiger Hawks come in at 4-14 on the season. The boys will have to figure out how to stop Colfax-Mingo’s leading scorer Brady Berkey and his 18.5 points per game. The girls game is scheduled to get underway at 6:00pm.
