Indianola residents who want to get their input on the next budget in front of the Indianola City Council will have several opportunities over the next month. Indianola Director of Finance Andy Lent tells KNIA News there will be a work session for the council on February 18th, a public hearing on property taxes on March 2nd, and the official public hearing on the budget will take place on March 25th. Lent also said he will be presenting a preliminary look at the budget at the work session, so residents can see what city staff has put together for the council there.
