State Senator Amy Sinclair announced her bid for another term in the Iowa Senate for District 14 recently. Currently, Senator Sinclair is the chair of the Senate Education Committee and the Senate Government Oversight Committee. Additionally, she is the vice chair of Education Appropriations, as well as serving on the Appropriations, Commerce, Judiciary, and Rules & Administration committees. Sinclair previously served two terms on the Wayne County Board of Supervisors as well as chaired the Allerton Public Library Board from 2000-2004 and served on the board of directors for the South Central Iowa Community Action Program and is currently a member of the Wayne Optimists Club. Senator Sinclair has lived, worked, and raised her family in Wayne County for more than 25 years.
