The senior point guard of the Pella boys basketball team is nearing a career milestone.

Barring a surprise this Friday at Grinnell, Logan Shetterly will likely eclipse the 1,000 career point mark. Shetterly, a three-year starter in the Pella program, is garnering likely All-State consideration this season after he was a 3rd team selection last year, as he’s averaging 20.2 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.3 steals per game this season. His 98 assists are 4th most in 3A. Shetterly currently sits at 993 career points after scoring 26 against Dallas Center-Grimes on Tuesday.
