The Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad start class 1A regional action tonight at Lynnville-Sully. The Sabers have had a tough season with a 5-17 season. Coach Trent Verwers tells KRLS Sports he is confident about tonight as long as his girls can put together 32 minutes of basketball.

Verwers:
“They trust the process and follow the game plan. We’re in a lot of games, we have to figure it out when we get to the third and fourth quarter that seems to be our struggle, two or three minutes each game if we can cut that down and not let the game get out of hand.”

Lynnville-Sully is 13-6 on the season and has three girls who score in double figures and have blocked 47 shots this season. The game is set to begin at 7:00pm at Lynnville-Sully High School.
