The Pleasantville City Council will meet in regular session today. The council will consider approval of a parcel split application for property located on W Pleasant Street as well as approval of a water main extension on W Pleasant Street. They will receive a presentation from the Pleasantville School District regarding its Facility Plans as well as consider approval for a septic disposal system for 1002 W Jasper Street. The council will consider a resolution to approve chamber membership dues as well as a newsletter proposal and bleacher replacements for ballfields. They will set a public hearing date to consider fiscal year 2021 maximum property tax dollars as well as consider a resolution setting a public hearing for rezoning certain parcels of real estate from R-1 residential to C-1 commercial. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held inside the City Council Chambers.
