The postseason is off on the right foot for the Pella Christian basketball team as they found little trouble in a 74-43 win over West Marshall in a Class 2A district semifinals win heard on 92.1 KRLS Thursday.

The Eagles dominated from wire-to-wire and lead by double-digits on the scoreboard for the majority of the contest, with nine different players scoring points.

Josh Van Gorp scored 16 points, collected eight rebounds, and blocked three shots; Dan Jungling scored 14 points by making three-of-four from beyond-the-arc and nabbing three steals, and Keean Cadwell added 12 points and five rebounds.

Pella Christian improves to 11-10 and will have a rematch with Des Moines Christian in the Class 2A District 13 finals on Tuesday in Newton, with the winner advancing to the substate round.
