The Warren County Supervisors are holding a public hearing on the bids for the Warren County Justice Center Project this Thursday, February 27th. The base bids for the project came back at under $28 million, but additional add ons for the construction including an approximate extra 9-10 thousand square feet in the basement that would cost $650K, a mechanism for keeping snow and ice out of the secure entryway for $71K, and A/V equipment for the Iowa Court System that would cost $634K, but would be reimbursed to the county at an approximate 85-90% rate.
