The Indianola Community School District will be hosting a showing of the film Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age later this month. Screenagers explores parental struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction and offers solutions to help kids find balance. Director of Technology Ray Coffey tells KNIA News parents are having to deal with many issues surrounding new technology, and Screenagers helps them find a balance.

“It just helps parents and students understand how much technology is affecting their students lives, probably more than what they realize. It just encompasses all that is going on with a student’s life from phones, computers, and dealing with school. So it’s a good informational movie for parents.”

Screenagers will be shown in the Indianola High School Auditorium on March 23rd at 6:30pm. The district asks that those planning on attending to register, find a link to register below.
