Hopes are high that the Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field Squad will be a player in the Bluegrass Conference this spring when or if their track season resumes due to the shut down. Coach Cam Parker tells KRLS Sports a top four finish is a realistic goal with the distance runners he has the experience in the sprints to contend.

Parker:
“I honestly think we can contest for a top three or maybe four finsih somewhere up there maybe better. Murray is always tough, Lamoni is alway tough, and Seymour has a great crop of girls coming through, so you can never count anyone out.”

Parker adds the Bluegrass Conference as a whole has improved over the last few seasons with teams that in the past that had not placed well are now starting to move up in the standings each year.
