Last season the Melcher-Dallas Boys Track and Field Squad did not have many hurdlers. This season, if it is allowed to resume on April 13th, Coach John Suntken wants to have 110 high and 400 meter hurdles on his team. He tells KNIA Sports he was working with several runners before the shutdown occurred.

Suntken:
“Was working with some hurdlers on the last day we could and we were fairly excited with freshmen Owen Suntken and Lucas Harrington and then Ryan Krpan working on three stepping, he had never ran it before saw his first time through, and I think it’s an event he can excel at.”

At this point the Saints would only miss two meets if the season is allowed to resume on April 13th.
