The Indianola City Council will meet for a regularly scheduled meeting this evening. The council will hold a public hearing on the FY21 budget, consider the East Iowa Ave paving project, sign exemption requests, and a nomination to the IMU Board of Trustees before going into closed session to discuss litigation. The council also has a study session scheduled, where they will review potential changes to city code. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News residents can watch the broadcast live via stream, submitting a form found with the agenda by the end of the day, submitting an email to the city clerk, or contacting their elected officials via email or phone to still participate. Waller also said residents can attend the meeting if they wish, however social distancing will be in effect and those attending are asked to RSVP with the city clerk.
