The Pleasantville City Council met in regular session Monday. The council approved an ordinance amending the zoning from R-1 Residential to C-1 Commercial for a piece of property owned by Beasley Farms. They approved the adoption of the fiscal year 2021 budget as well as garbage hauler bids. The council approved chlorine leak detection equipment for the water treatment plant as well as approved speed signs for Jasper Street. They approved the city wide clean up day for April 25th as well as fireworks funding.
