Melcher-Dallas will have a long road trip in week one of the football season this fall as the Saints will travel to western Iowa to face Griswold. Week two brings a familiar foe to the Saints as Lenox will make the trip for the Saints home opener, followed by back-to-back fellow Bluegrass Conference foes in week three and four with a road game against Mormon Trail and a home match-up with Murray. Week five brings a road game against eight-man rookie Martensdale-St. Mary’s. Seymour/Moulton-Udell and Southeast Warren visit respectively in weeks six and seven. The Saints will travel to Lamoni in week eight and the season wraps up in week nine at home against Grandview Christian. One match-up that Saints fans will not see this season for the first time since 1997 is the annual rivalry game with Twin Cedars. The two will not play unless they meet in the playoffs.
