Pella will see familiar faces for the most part in their 2020 football schedule, which were released statewide by the Iowa High School Athletic Association. Earlier in the winter, the districts were set, with the Dutch landing in 3A District 7. Non-district foes have been set, with Pella set to travel to longtime Little Hawkeye Conference rivals Dallas Center-Grimes to open the season on August 28th. Pella will host two southeast Iowa teams after, with Mt. Pleasant returning to the schedule after two seasons in non-district matchups with the Dutch, and new opponent Keokuk coming to the Tulip City on September 11th. Pella makes the short trek to the Lacey Complex on September 18th to take on longtime rival Oskaloosa, and then opens district play with Knoxville at Ken Locke Stadium on the 25th. Pella follows with two home games in early October against North Polk and Carlisle, and closes on the road at Bondurant-Farrar and Nevada.
