The Indianola Police and Fire Departments are doing their best to raise spirits during this time of social distancing, and have begun doing drive-by parades for children whose birthdays have been impacted. The departments will do them as they are able during the COVID-19 pandemic, but can not promise they will be able to honor each request but will do them as often as possible. The departments ask that anyone wishing for a birthday drive-by to give them several days advance notice to put on the schedule, and that the residences reside inside city limits.
