With the high school spring sports season on pause, a lot of uncertainty is floating around. There have been a number of ideas tossed around, and even some rumors in circulation about the potential resumption of high school athletics in Iowa. The truth is that no decisions have been made yet as to the structure of the seasons or if and when they will even resume. PCM activities director Greg Bonnett says that if the go-ahead is given to resume, he’s confident that things will fall into place with good leadership.

“I don’t know what it’s going to look like for sure, but I just know that if we get together, and if there becomes an opportunity to make the sports get back on sooner than later, I really believe that we have good enough people all around the state and coaches that are in it for the right reasons, that we’ll be able to work something out.”

April 13th is when school is tentatively scheduled to resume. As with everything right now, that is heavily subject to change.
