The City of Indianola Water Resource Recovery team is seeing an increase of non-flushable items including “flushable” wipes, paper towels, and disposable cleaning wipes, items that can cause damage to the city sewer system. The city is asking that only toilet paper be flushed, and all other items be thrown in the trash for disposal.
