The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today. The council will consider the approval of a purchase for a police department vehicle as well as consider a resolution to approve an offer from Competine Creek, L.L.C. to buy real estate adjacent to the Knoxville Water Works. They will also consider the reappointment of Penny Sommar and David Hoke to the Civil Service Board. The meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. and will be conducted via web conferencing and closed to the public, but will be streamed live to allow for public access as well as broadcast live on 95.3 KNIA.
