PCM schools will remain closed until April 30th, and in the meantime, will continue to offer online educational opportunities for students. In a letter to students and parents, Superintendent Brad Jeremland says the district has worked hard on an approach to serve all, including providing elementary students and parents access to a website that will be updated weekly with lessons and activities for students. The middle school and high school students were sent assignments from teachers through the use of Google Classroom. The voluntary option will continue to be implemented in all grades PK-12. The PCM Community School District will still provide meals each day, which is open to all children under the age of 18 that live in the school district. Grab and Go meals are passed out daily at Monroe Elementary and the Prairie City Library, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
