There are three seniors on the Knoxville Girls Golf Squad that if the season does not play out, they will have lost their seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Faith Hatch, Maddie Graves, and Mirrah Wilson are all in the final seasons of eligibility and Coach Barry Smith feels the most for them if the season is not allowed to play out.

Smith:
“It’s promising for our team. If it doesn’t play out I feel for our seniors Faith, Maddie and Mirrah Wilson as our seniors who didn’t get to play this season. But this still shows we’re going in the right direction and that’s what we want to achieve.”

Smith says with Amy Sullivan making the state meet last season and the progress of the other players shows the direction the program is going. The Panthers first meet of the season if it is allowed to resume on May first is against P-C-M against on May fourth.
