The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. The board approved the 2020-2021 Certified Budget as well as approved a resolution for extended school closure giving the district flexibility during the closure regarding policies. The resolution is only good during the COVID-19 pandemic. They approved a resolution to approve the fiscal year 2018-2019 Financial Audit as well as approved the 2020-21 proposal and 2020-2022 Master Contract. 

The board approved Teacher Positions and Salaries as well as approved a resolution authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $26,250,000 General Obligation School Bonds and Levying a Tax for the payment thereof as well as approved multiple contracts and agreements for the New Middles School Project. 

The board approved the fiscal year 2019-20 Certified Budget Amendment for Publication and set a public hearing for the fiscal year 2019-2020 Certified Budget Amendment for April 27th, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.
