With every high school coach in Iowa in limbo at this time due to the sports shut down, many coaches who are also teachers at their respective schools are getting creative with their online learning classrooms. Twin Cedars Baseball Coach Mark Schroeder, who is a physical education teams at Twin Cedars tells KRLS Sports he has had to step out of the box for some of his online classes.

Shroeder:
“I’m hoping it’ll help with the student participation and involvement as they see me doing curls with buckets of dirt. It’s been unique and I think we can grow as teachers and students from this.”

As the baseball coach, his hands are tied right now with no sports allowed to happen which means he cannot meet with his players to go over preseason planning. The Sabers’ first game of the summer would be a home match up with Moravia on June second.
