Pella Police Officer Zach Nelson has graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Nelson finished the last few weeks of the academy back at the Pella PD and has already started his field training. After he was sworn in, Nelson expressed great excitement to get to work in Pella. After field training is completed, Nelson will be a full-service patrol officer with the department.
