The 2020 Tulip Queen and Royal Court, along with staff and with several volunteers from the Pella Historical Society and Museums, dug up, clipped up, and delivered tulips to local retirement communities and members of Pella Historical largely isolated from others.

A group led by Pella Historical Society Director Valerie Van Kooten spent the morning gathering flowers from the tulip beds in the Historical Village, and prepared them to deliver. The Royal Court, made up of Queen Hanna Kendall, Molly Bolt, Courtney Chaplin, Jocelyn Gritters, and Ellie Roorda (pictured above), assisted with drop off of the special surprises.
