*UPDATE: The Boil Advisory is No Longer in affect according to Marion County Rural Water

If you are in the area of Tracy and Bussey, east of Knoxville, and have no to little water pressure; it is due to a hit water main. A Boil Advisory will be in effect until the samples come back clear to consume.

The towns of Bussey and  Tracy are not impacted by the boil order (they are under city water) only Marion County Rural Water customers that live in rural Bussey and Tracy areas.

This means  it’s recommended that the water be boiled before using for drinking or cooking, and using another source, such as bottled water. It may be used for bathing and other similar purposes.
