The Dross twins of PCM, Brooke and Alexis, are headed to St. Ambrose University this fall to join the women’s golf program. While it was disappointing to lose their senior seasons, it was a motivating factor in deciding on what to do in college. Alexis says that while academics will be number one, the fact that she missed the opportunity to achieve her goals in high school golf helped to reaffirm the decision.

“It was really hard for me at first to accept it because I really wanted to make it to state this year. Each year, I’ve been improving, and I really wanted to prove myself. So I was definitely disappointed. I’m just trying to make the best of it. That’s part of the reason I wanted to do college golf, so I can prove myself.”

Alexis and Brooke were part of a large senior class in the PCM girls golf program. They’ll join a deep roster at St. Ambrose in the fall.
