One major drawback to the isolation that many of us are doing during the COVID-19 pandemic is not being able to see friends or certain members of the family. Twin Cedars senior Hunter McCombs felt that with not being able to be around his friends. However, he has ways to see them and talk to them virtually. McCombs tells KRLS Sports they play online games, along with the standard texting just to stay in contact with each other.

McCombs:
“We all stay very close in contact, we play games every night, that’s what we do in this generation, it’s a lot of fun. We’re keeping ourselves entertained and I’m ready to get back to normal and hang out with everyone.”

McCombs got good news yesterday that he will be able to hang out with his friends on the baseball diamond this summer after the Iowa High School Athletic Association gave the green light for schools to embark on summer sports on June first. McCombs batted 233 last season with 14 hits and 14 RBI.
