The Knoxville Raceway has announced the May 29th and 30th season opening race nights has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. The raceway said in the release Thursday that due to not being allowed to have fans in the stands they will not hold a weekly sprint car show until fans are allowed to attend. Raceway officials are also working to implement safety measures that will likely be required when fans can attend. The World of Outlaws Brownells Big Guns Bash on June 12th and 13th will be held with or without fans. The tentative season opener is set for June sixth.
