The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in a special session Thursday. The board approved a soft reopening of all county offices effective Monday, June 1st by appointment only as well as approved the purchase of No Wait Inside Appointment Software. They also approved the return of county employees who were working from home to return to work June 1st, except for furloughed employees, as their return will be discussed at a later date. According to the supervisors, people will be able to access the county’s temporary location building even without an appointment but must knock on the door to the office in which they want to gain access to, to have their needs taken care of or have an appointment made at that time. The county will also continue holding all public meetings via Zoom.

Following the open portion of the meeting the board held a closed session to discuss information contained in records in the custody of a governmental body that are confidential, with no action being taken.
