Pella Historical Society and Museums will begin reopening to the public after the Memorial Day Holiday. Executive Director Valerie Van Kooten says after Governor Kim Reynolds’ most recent proclamation started to ease restrictions on museums, they decided to reopen the Pella Historical Village. Along with the gift shop, visitors can take a self-guided tour through the Village beginning Tuesday, May 26, with hours available from 10-4, Monday through Friday, and 10-2 on Saturdays. The Vermeer Windmill will remain closed until June 15th. Van Kooten says tulip bulbs sales, in which residents and visitors can purchase bulbs in exchange for donations, wraps up today at the village.
