According to the latest update from the City of Indianola, there are now 24 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus within city limits, and another four within the Indianola Fire District. The Iowa Department of Public Health states that Warren County has 95 cases of the virus, while Marion County has 34 cases, with neither county having any deaths. Warren County Health Services Director Jodene DeVault tells KNIA News approximately 60 of the current cases within Warren County have recovered, and testing is focused on high-risk areas such as long-term care and healthcare facilities.
