The high school summer sports season is happening this year, and it will be a welcome relief from the events of this past spring. However, many aspects of the season will be unusual. While fans will be allowed to attend games, there is expected to be variable guidance between schools on what will be allowed. PCM Activities Director Greg Bonnett encourages people to bring their own seating, and says a lot fewer people will be able to watch the games in person due to the setup at the facilities.

“You’re going to be able to see a game, but I don’t think you’re going to be able to see it at full capacity. Just looking at our facilities, if we space everybody out that would normally come to a game, there would be some people that were just systematically not capable of seeing the game. I would hope people would be respectful of that, keep it to just a minimum amount of people there.”

The condensed season will get underway on Monday, June 15th as the Mustang baseball and softball teams both play host to South Hamilton.
