The Knoxville School Board met in special session Tuesday. The board approved the revised 2020-2021 District Calendar with a school start date of August 20th. Knoxville Schools Superintendent Cassi Pearson told the board the reason for the revised calendar was so the district could add two half days at the beginning of the year to ease kids back into school following everything that has gone on with COVID-19.

They also approved a resolution directing the advertisement for sale, approving electronic bidding procedures and approving the official statement for General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2020, not to exceed $26,250,000 for the new Knoxville Middle School Project.
