While the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a shot on state sports for the spring, Twin Cedars is reporting larger than usual numbers for summer sports. The baseball squad has good numbers this season…so much so that Coach Mark Schroeder tells KRLS Sports, there will be competition at almost all positions. He says that is what makes coaching fun and seeing guys battle for starting spots.

Schroeder:
“That’s a fun part of coaching, with the higher number of guys, qwe have a few guys that didn’t go out last year that are playing, and that’s fun to see who can play and get everyone locked and loaded.”

Practice starts today for the summer sports seasons. Twin Cedars is scheduled to start the 2020 baseball season on June 16th at home against Murray.
