The World of Outlaws are back at the Knoxville Raceway this weekend. Unlike the last time on May eighth, fans will be in attendance. Fans are still asked to follow distancing guiltiness set forth by the raceway for this weekend’s racing. One driver on the Outlaws that has let everyone know he is a contender for the season championship is Logan Schuchart. He finished second at last year’s Knoxville Nationals, and was third in the May eighth show. Schuchart tells KNIA Sports he is treating this weekend like any other, to go out and win and hopefully learn a few things to use in August.

Schuchart:
“We’re just treating this as a regular race and going out and trying to win. We might try a few small things to see if that helps or hurts us in certain situations. I feel good about our car and what’s going on. You just have to put yourself in a good spot when you’re on the racetrack whether it’s this weekend of the Nationals.”

Schuchart is in third place currently in the World of Outlaws points standings, 36 points behind leader Brad Sweet.
