twin-cedars-4

A theme for the first couple weeks of practice for the Twin Cedars Baseball Squad is to be better than average. The Sabers went 14-13 last season and finished middle of the pack in the Bluegrass Conference. Coach Mark Schroeder tells KRLS Sports he has been telling his guys one hit here, limit and error in another part of a game, will go a long way from being just average to a much better than average season.

Schroeder :
“That’s really the idea of what they were hoping to see, one less walk, one less error, one more hit, one more run. So consistency is what we’re trying to preach, and aggression trying to push the envelope when we’re at the plate.”

Schroeder adds the first couple of weeks have been nice to see how his guys look. He says they are ready for the first game against Murray on Tuesday.
