The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce has announced the creation of a new program to help connect local businesses and residents while continuing to stay safe despite the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Hannah Vander Veer the program is called the Knoxville Business Community Connect and is a hybrid between the commerce’s Lunch and Learn program and Let’s Meet for Koffee program. Vander Veer tells KNIA/KRLS News the program will feature a panel of experts that will answer questions and lead a discussion. This month’s program will be held Tuesday, June 30th from noon to 1 p.m. and will focus on personal and professional well being with business owners and managers. She says business owners and managers have been in crisis since March and this program will feature a panel of people with a background in psychology and wellness to help attendees work through some of the things they are currently facing.

Vander Veer says anyone interested in participating can register on the chamber’s website. She says the program is via Zoom and as soon as someone registers for the program they will get a confirmation with all the Zoom information.
