The Pella City Council approved resolutions as they relate to employee pay and benefits at their meeting Tuesday evening. Council approved the annual wage scale, health plan premiums, and a revised personnel policy manual. Resolutions approving an engineering services contract for the Wonder Spelen project with Snyder & Associates for just under $75,000, as well as setting two public hearings on July 21st to approve bids for Clark Street Water Main improvements and a new water main stemming from Fifield Road were also approved. Following regular business, council held an initial planning session for several upcoming significant capital projects during policy and planning, including discussion about the Pella Community Center, downtown infrastructure improvements, and beautification projects throughout the community.
