The Knoxville Baseball Squad was shut down by Ames on Wednesday night in Principal Park five-to-nothing in a game heard live on 95.3 KNIA. The Panthers gave up runs in the first, third and fifth innings and could only muster six baserunners with just one getting into scoring position. Colton Jones took the loss for Knoxville going four-plus innings giving up four runs on five hits, four walks and four strikeouts. Hits were by Bode Cox, Luke Spaur Ben Olson, and Drew Robinson. The Panthers are now 1-4 on the season and will host Albia tonight in a game you can hear on 95.3 KNIA at 7:15pm.
