Indianola Parks and Rec is beginning several of their summer programs, including free movies to be shown outside beginning in July. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the free movies will be shown at dusk at Memorial Park on Friday nights, with several safety recommendations put in place including those attending needing to bring their own seating, drinks, snacks and hand sanitizer, and seating should be in family groups, separated by six feet from other families. Restrooms are available, but drinking fountains are turned off. The movies include:
Frozen 2 – July 10 at 8:45 pm
Moana – July 17 at 8:45 pm
Lion King – July 24 at 8:40 pm
Aladdin – July 31 at 8:30 pm
