The class 1A #14 Twin Cedars softball Squad posted a sweep of an unique day/night double header. The Sabers played a matinee game against Southeast Warren and beat the Warhawks 5-2, and then came back in the nightcap and run-ruled Grandview Christian 10-0 in six innings. Grace Bailey got the win in both games, she also homered in the Grandview Christian contest. The Saber baseball squad was not as fortunate as they lost to Cardinal 14-9. Devin Arkema helped out at the plate going 3/4 with two singles and a double while Kade Dunkin was 2/3 and three stolen bases. Both Sabers squads will go their separate ways on the road tonight. The softball squad heads to Diagonal while the baseball squad will travel to Ankeny Christian.
