Today will likely be the hottest of the week after a stretch of warm and humid conditions over the past several days. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 90s, and coupled with high dew points, heat index values will approach and even top 100 degrees, with little to no wind expected. Everyone is reminded if they work outdoors to drink plenty of water, use sunscreen, wear lightweight and light colored clothing, and take breaks in shade or even air conditioning.
