Due to a positive COVID-19 test, the Indianola softball season is suspended until July 14th. After recommendation from Warren County Health Services, no practices or games will be allowed during that period.

The Indians were scheduled to play at Dallas Center-Grimes this evening, and will miss five games overall. The suspension effectively ends the regular season for the Indians with a 14-4 record.

Indianola is next scheduled to hit the field of play again on July 21st in regional action against Dowling Catholic.

The Indianola baseball squad will look to get back on track after a three-game losing streak stepping out of conference play tonight hosting Fairfield for senior night. The Indians boast 11 seniors on the squad that will be honored, and will try to do so against a Trojan squad that has lost 9 of their last 11 games. The game tonight can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 7:15pm, with first pitch scheduled for 7:30.
