It was senior night for the No. 12 in 1A Twin Cedars Softball Squad, and the Sabers sent the seniors out in style with a 12-0 win over Orient-Macksburg completing a second straight undefeated Bluegrass Conference Championship. Senior Caity Reed ended the game with a home run to get the four inning 12 run mercy rule enacted. Grace Bailey got the win as the Sabers improved to 17-4 and will undoubtedly encounter their toughest challenge of the season tonight as they travel to defending class 1A state champion and the current No. 1 ranked team, Collins-Maxwell.
