The construction on E Iowa will continue this week, with the rock sub base in place, and is now ready to be trimmed to final grade in preparation for the paving. According to the latest update from the City of Indianola, Iowa Avenue will be paved in two parts throughout the week, with driveways being paved back once the roadway is complete. Construction is expected to be completed by July 17th. This project, which is partially funded by a grant, will improve the synchronization of the traffic signals on Highway 65/69 and 92.
