The Knoxville Baseball Squad asserted its will over Fairfield in an 11-1 victory that sent everyone home after just six innings heard live on 95.3 KNIA. Carter Bailey was outstanding on the mound going 4 2/3 innings, allowing just one hit and one run while striking out six. After spotting Fairfield a run in the third inning, the Panthers scored 11 unanswered runs. Ben Olson, Beau Leisure, and Bode Cox each managed multiple hits with Olsen Bailey, Cox and Luke Spaur driving in runs. Coach Turner Devore told KRLS Sports it was good to see Bailey get as many pitches in as he could, and still save his staff for the rest of the week.

Devore:
“It was good to come out. The first couple of innings and they got a run when we tried to help them out, I was like we need to get back on the offensive side, and we hit the ball decently well. We saved some pitchers for tomorrow night and get healthy for Friday.”

Knoxville is back at the ballpark on Panther Drive tonight in a non-conference game against Centerville. You can hear the action on 95.3 KNIA at 7:15pm.
