The cases of the COVID-19 virus have again risen over the weekend within the Indianola city limits since the latest update on July 10th, bringing the total to 88 cases in the city and 17 not within city limits but inside the Indianola Fire District. The latest update from the Iowa Department of Public Health shows a significant rise of 40 new cases in Warren County since July 10th, with 338 overall cases and 232 recoveries.

The most recent Marion County Situation Report shows another significant rise of 12 cases, with 102 overall, 15 active, and 87 recoveries. Cases in Marion County have doubled in the last month, as the county surpassed 50 cases on June 19th, with active cases also steadily rising.
